Hi When you create the new company file in AccountRight Plus V19.11 do not insert a serial number during the creation process. When creating a new company file you will have 90 days to activate it. Once the file is created you may not be prompted to activate the new company file when you do get so prompted. When that happens make sure you select the 'Activate later' option as indicated in the image below then click the 'Continue' button.

Ninety days is sufficient enough time to setup the file with a view to entering the firm's new serial number before the period has expired. You will receive ongoing prompts to 'Activate' that company file always continue to use the 'Activate later' option within the 90 days grace period. Hi Once a serial number has been entered into company file and that file has been activated it is set and you are unable to make changed to that serial number. However if required you can send the company file for in a serial number removal. Please note that this is a paid service with AccountRight version 19.
